An unforgettable final week in Prague
Our last week of study abroad was one to remember! We concluded classes and had the incredible opportunity to meet the Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod, Chief Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, who joined Czech Judge Robert Fremr for a fascinating discussion comparing the U.S. and Czech legal systems. It was eye-opening to hear how different countries approach justice and the rule of law, and to see how judges from different nations tackle complex issues.

Judge Elrod also delivered an inspiring speech that left us reflecting on our future roles in the legal world.

To top it all off, we celebrated with a closing dinner filled with traditional Czech food, laughter, heartfelt goodbyes, and even a surprise musical performance by Professor Jankowski — plus a few fun superlatives to close things out.
Grateful for this journey, the lessons learned, and the lifelong memories made.
