I am honored to be serving as the new president and dean of South Texas College of Law Houston, which has educated distinguished members of the bar for more than a century. Founded by leaders of Houston’s legal community in 1923 to serve the needs of working professionals, we now attract students from across the nation who want to become part of this law school’s welcoming community and commitment to excellence.

At STCL Houston, we enthusiastically embrace the challenge of making sure that our institution continues to perform at the highest level and effectively equips students to practice law. They become public defenders, State Supreme Court Justices, prosecutors, litigators at prestigious firms, professors, solo practitioners, and business leaders.
