Elissa Jacob

Assistant Professor of Law

Elissa Jacob is an Assistant Professor at South Texas College of Law specializing in Legal Research and Writing. Her research focuses on access to justice issues and has been published or is forthcoming in the N.Y.U. Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and Pace Law Review.

Professor Jacob completed her undergraduate studies at Capital University, graduating summa cum laude and double-majoring in Business Administration and Music. She went on to attend Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and serving as an editor on the Pepperdine Law Review.  After graduating, Elissa clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Sam Sheldon. She has also worked as South Texas’s Assistant Director of Academic Success and as a Legal Research and Writing Adjunct Professor for Trinity Law School.
