Lone Star Legal Writing Conference
Mark your calendars for April 9 & 10, 2026, as South Texas College of Law Houston proudly hosts the 2026 Lone Star Regional Legal Writing Conference. This annual gathering is a cornerstone event for legal writing professors and educators dedicated to advancing the crafts of legal writing, research, and advocacy in Texas and beyond.
The Conference theme is Bridging the Classroom–Practice Gap. We will bring together legal writing professors from across the region and beyond to connect with practitioners and judges who are passionate about legal writing, so professors can better align their teaching with the approaches that judges and practitioners value most. We welcome proposals relating to our theme as well as any other topic of interest to legal research and writing professors. Whether you’re an experienced professor or new to legal academia, don’t miss this opportunity to shape the future of legal writing. Click on the icons below for further details.
