Students and employees should use their best judgment and contact their professors or supervisors if they are not able to travel.

Dear South Texas Law Community,
The arctic front moving into the Greater Houston region this weekend is expected to impact travel conditions and cause potential power outages in some areas.
Based on the most recent weather updates, here are the plans for the law school:
- The STCL Houston campus will close at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 24. Students with classes or practices scheduled over the weekend will receive a communication from their professor.
- The campus will be closed Sunday, January 25.
- The campus will be closed Monday, January 26. Classes will be conducted remotely. Professors will contact students with further information regarding Monday classes. Staff should plan to work remotely, if able.
- At this time, normal operations will resume Tuesday morning, January 27.
The Emergency Operations Management Team (EOMT) will continue monitoring weather updates closely. As always, we ask that everyone use their best judgment based on the conditions where you live. Your safety is always our top priority.
