About The Challenge
Since 2012, the South Texas Mock Trial Challenge has welcomed law student advocates to South Texas College of Law Houston for a competition rooted in advocacy, professionalism, and courtroom skill.
The Challenge gives students the opportunity to step into the role of trial attorneys and present a case. From preliminary rounds to the final round, the competition is designed to showcase strong advocacy and prepare the students for real courtroom practice.
The Sixteenth Annual South Texas Mock Trial Challenge will take place from April 1 – 4, 2027.
