Frank Evans Center, Oil and Gas Institute host third annual Energy Law Negotiation Competition

On March 25, STCL Houston hosted its third annual Energy Law Negotiation Competition, organized by the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution and the Harry Reed Oil and Gas Institute. Forty-four students from 14 nationwide law schools competed in two preliminary, 70-minute negotiation rounds. Local oil and gas attorneys who served as judges offered participants detailed feedback after each round. Teams from the University of Georgia secured both the first- and second-place awards for the 2017 event, sponsored by Haynes and Boone and Gray Reed & McGraw.
