Darcy Douglas ’07 joined South Texas Law as vice president, advancement and alumni engagement, in January 2021. She brought two decades of development and legal experience to her role at Houston’s oldest law school. This past year, she co-chaired the law school’s Centennial Celebration.

Douglas led major gift efforts at Texas Children’s Hospital for nearly a decade, playing an integral role in the execution of the hospital’s $475 million Promise Campaign. Prior to her role at Texas Children’s, she oversaw fundraising efforts for Breakthrough Houston. Previously, she served as a development associate at Alliance for Justice and as major gifts coordinator at EMILY’s List — both in Washington, D.C.

Following her graduation from STCL Houston in 2007, Douglas served as an associate at The Ammons Law Firm LLP and as an associate at Grady Schneider in Houston. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000.
