Office: Legal Clinic

Professor Luke is a clinical legal educator who focuses her practical teaching in skills course offerings.  Her background in health segued into a natural curiosity of Social Security disability which soon grew to encompass the family law and probate substantive areas.   The fertile environment of South Texas College of Law Houston allowed her to merge interests in teaching and community service leading to the creation of the Direct Representation Legal Clinics.

She teaches the family law clinics, the probate clinic, the guardianship clinic, the estate planning clinic, and the community education clinic.  Professor Luke is committed to teaching by example.  She performs pro bono legal services as a licensed practicing attorney and has gifted her time and talent far in excess of the State Bar recommended fifty hours per year.  Additionally, Professor Luke teaches client interviewing and counseling.
