Rule 749c. Appeal Perfected (1977)

TEXT

The appeal shall be perfected when an appeal bond, or the pauper's affidavit in lieu thereof, has been filed and the tenant/appellant has paid into the justice court registry one rental period's rent. In a case where the pauper's affidavit is contested by the landlord, the appeal shall be perfected when the contest is overruled and one rental period's rent has been paid into the justice court registry.

COMMENT: Order of May 9, 1977, eff. Sept. 1, 1977. This is a new rule.
