Legal Writing Center

The Legal Writing Center

The Legal Writing Center supports South Texas students in becoming powerful, practice-ready writers. The Legal Writing Center recognizes that writing is the foundation of every legal practice. Working in tandem with the Legal Research and Writing Faculty, the Center ensures every graduate enters the profession with strong skills in writing, editing, and analysis. The Center helps students develop the skills to become careful editors of their own work, offering individual coaching, group workshops, and online resources for law students. The Writing Center welcomes students from orientation through bar passage and works with students in all stages of drafting and revision.
