Rule 593. To Whom Writ Directed

TEXT

The writ of attachment shall be directed as follows: "To the Sheriff or any Constable of any County of the State of Texas." It shall command him to attach so much of the property of the defendant as shall be found within his county, sufficient to satisfy the demand of the plaintiff and the probable costs of the suit.

Change: The writ of attachment is not to be directed to a particular county.
