Rule 447. Execution On Failure To Pay Costs

If neither party shall pay the costs within thirty days after the judgment be­comes final, the clerk shall issue execution for the costs accruing in his court against the party or parties against whom such costs have been adjudged. The execution shall be styled "The State of Texas" and shall be directed to the sheriff or any Constable of any county of the State of Texas as provided in Rule 629. I t shall be sent by mail to the proper officer for collection but the clerk shall retain the mandate until the costs have been paid or collected, subject however, to the provisions of Rules 443 and 444.
