Rule 426. Same: Time Allowed

TEXT

After the case has been presented to the court by such explanation as may be necessary, each side may be allowed an hour in argument, with twenty minutes more in conclusion by the appellant; and, after being so presented, if the magnitude or importance of the case or the difficulty of the question seem to require it, a longer time may be allowed. Not more than two counsel on each side will be heard except upon leave of the court. Provided, however, that any Court of Civil Appeals may, in its discretion, by general rule, reduce the time allowed for oral argument in said court to conform to Rule 498.
