Rule 407. Motion to Postpone (1984)
TEXT
Motions to postpone the case to a future day, unless consented to by the opposite party, shall be supported by sufficient cause, verified by affidavit, unless such sufficient cause is apparent to the court.
Amended by order of Dec. 5, 1983, eff. April 1, 1984: The provision for a continuance to the next term of court has been deleted.
