Rule 242. Duty of District Clerk

TEXT

In a district court any such interlocutory judgment by default and any such final judgment by default which does not require the hearing of evidence may be noted by the clerk, pursuant to general rule by the judge directing such practice, notwithstanding the judge may be absent, and shall be entered and binding upon the approval of a draft thereof after inspection of the papers by the judge of such court, in open court within the judicial district of and for which he is the judge.
