Join us at this exciting event to discuss major issues in animal legislation, protection, and lobbying efforts. South Texas College of Law Houston, in collaboration with the Texas Humane Legislation Network and the Houston Humane Society, will bring together experts to discuss critical topics relevant for today’s animal-rights advocates.

$20 registration fee covers lunch and all program costs.

Topics covered:

  • Learn about urgent animal protection legislation pending in Congress;
  • Hear an update on states’ legislative efforts to regulate breeders;
  • Understand effective lobbying methods for current state and federal legislative issues;
  • Participate in an “Ask the Animal Law Professor” forum;
  • Speak directly with legislators about passing stronger laws for animal protection;
  • Network with animal-rights leaders, legal advocates, and other animal lovers.
