Library Workshop Series – Secondary Sources

September 11 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

The Fred Parks Law Library is offering small group research workshops this semester.  Earn 50 free prints for each workshop attended.  Attend all 3 workshop topics to enter a drawing for a private study room for a week during fall exams.

This 50-minute guided workshop will provide a hands-on research exercise designed to improve your understanding of how to use the secondary sources.  A research assignment based in the real world of legal practice will be presented, those in attendance will analyze the legal issue(s) involved, and then use the resources indicated to find an answer to the question presented.  Research will be conducted in print materials and online.

There will be 3 workshop topics in the coming weeks: Secondary Sources, Case Research, and Statutory Research.  Please meet at the Reference Desk and please wear a mask.
