Scholarships

South Texas College of Law Houston annually provides more than $4 million in scholarships, grants, and awards. These funds include those that are established by alumni, individuals, organizations, and foundations are awarded based on academic achievement, financial need, and/or more specific criteria.

Students are encouraged to search for scholarships outside of STCL Houston. Below is a list of organizations who have annual scholarships. Students are encouraged to utilize scholarship search engines and community organizations for additional outside scholarship opportunities.

Outside Scholarships

Upon receiving a scholarship, students should instruct the donor to mail scholarship funds to the below address. The donor must include the student’s name, student ID, and term/year in which the funds should be applied to.

Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the reporting process for donors. Within a month of the beginning of class, students will receive an e-mail explaining the process. All entering students are considered for merit scholarships based on their undergraduate performance and LSAT score. Please contact the Admissions Office at 713-646-1810 or at admissions@stcl.edu for more information on these scholarships.
