SSL Security Warning:
Some of South Texas College of Law's secure websites will have a new certificate which has not yet been trusted by some major web browsers. As of May 2010, you should have the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer. We recommend using this browser. If Internet Explorer reports a warning, please re-run Windows Update and try again after you restart the web browser.
Other browsers, like Firefox and Safari are still pending. As a result, you may see a "The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not trusted" warning when visiting some of our secure websites. First, make sure the web browser is up to date with the latest version. If you still get this warning, you could opt for either:
(A) Download and install the certificate manually
For Safari: download the two files to your computer's Download folder. Double click and add them to your keychain.
For Firefox: click on the two links and press the "Install Certificate" button. If you need step-by-step instructions, click here.
(B) As an alternative, you could also opt for safely trusting our site's certificate and proceeding to the page.
