Students can explore medieval cities built as fortresses against pirate invasion, temple ruins predating the pyramids, dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches that slope gently toward the deep blue sea. Malta's rich historical traditions combine with modern European sensibilities to provide a unique setting for the study of international and comparative law. South of Sicily, Malta is a melting pot of cultures, but thoroughly modern, with bustling shopping and business districts and luxurious resort hotels.
