Dear Friends,
Let me first say on behalf of all the students at South Texas College of Law,
welcome and congratulations! You have officially begun your legal career. You
are now part of a proud tradition of excellent legal education that will serve
you well throughout your career.
All students at
South Texas
are members of the
Student Bar Association (SBA). I encourage each of you to get to know your SBA
and its governing board. The SBA is a wonderful resource available to help you
succeed. We strive to bridge the gap between you and the faculty and
administration. During your upcoming orientation, you will be introduced
to all of the officers and have a chance to speak with them. Every officer is
dedicated to helping you accomplish your goals as you tackle this trying, yet
rewarding, first semester of law school in any way we can.
Some of the projects
coordinated by the SBA include:
- Mentor/Mentee program
- Rooftop Terrace Parties
- Student/Faculty Forums on various topics
- Community Service, Annual
- Food Drive and Softball Tournament

We look forward to meeting
