New Student ID Card – Photo Taking Instructions

We will be using Zoom to capture your photo for your student ID card.  The name for the Zoom account profile you use will be the same name you used to register for the college.

We need all new students to complete the photo taking process regardless if you are only taking classes online and do not plan on coming to campus as photos are used for the professor’s class rosters.

We will be capturing photos beginning Wednesday, July 29th, and the final day is August, 7th.

Sign up for a time slot here.

Please be prepared to have your photo taken immediately after joining your scheduled time window. Be sure to check your hair, appearance, lighting, etc. BEFORE your scheduled time to make the process go faster for everyone.  Please review the following guidelines:

  • Business casual attire
  • Use a neutral background
  • Use even lighting
  • Devices can be anything that has a webcam: computer, tablet, cellphone
  • Hold device horizontally and steady
  • If using phone, use the main camera instead of “selfie” camera. This may require someone to hold the phone for you

To have your photo taken, please Join the Zoom Meeting https://stcl.zoom.us/j/7136461889.  You will be placed in the waiting room.  Please check your video, hair, appearance, and lighting at this time.  Security personnel will then join the meeting and capture your photo.

A Drivers’ license or other government issued ID card will be required to pick up your college ID.  ID cards will be handed out to sections A and C on August 13th and 14th during Orientation.  We will also be posting times on Wednesday, August 12 for students to come by campus to pick up the ID as well as other materials given out at Orientation.  If you miss any of these pick up time, your ID card will be located at the security desk at the main entrance.

Please understand that this is a new process for us and we may not be able to capture an acceptable ID photo during your initial session.  We may ask you to reschedule after correcting the problem.
