Rule 214. Matter Not Responsive (1971)


If any deposition shall contain any testimony not pertinent to the direct and cross-questions propounded, such matter shall be deemed surplusage, and may be stricken out by the court upon objection thereto.

Amended by order of July 21, 1970, eff. Jan. 1, 1971: The word "cross-questions" has been substituted for "cross-interrogatories."
