In the annual survey of law students conducted by Texas Lawyer, The Fred Parks Law Library has been named the top academic law library in Texas for the second year in a row. The library scored 4.73 out of a possible 5.0 score. Second place in library services was secured by the University of Texas with a score of 4.56.

This year, the publication surveyed 1,178 Texas law students about their institutions and compiled responses on the following topics:

• preparation for practice
• placement
• collegiality
• technology
• library services
• quality of instruction
• faculty accessibility
• competitiveness
• diversity

Texas Lawyer also questioned students whether they would choose to attend the same law school again, whether they would attend another law school, whether they would enroll in an MBA program instead of law school, or whether they would choose another path.
