Rule 500. Judgments in Open Court (1943)

TEXT

In all cases decided by the Supreme Court, its judgments or decrees will be pronounced in open court; and the opinion of the court will be reduced to writing in such cases as the court deems of sufficient importance to be reported. Where the court, after the submission of a case, is of the opinion that the Court of Civil Appeals has entered the correct judgment, and that the writ should not have been granted, the court may set aside the order granting the writ, and dismiss or refuse the application as though the writ had never been granted, without writing any opinion.

Amended by order of June 16, 1943, eff. Dec. 31, 1943.
