Rule 466. Instruments to Accompany Certificate (1984)

TEXT

When any Court of Appeals shall certify to the Supreme Court any question of law for determination, either upon its own motion or that of any party, the certificate shall be accompanied by the briefs filed in the Court of Appeals. Also, the Court of Appeals may accompany such certificate with the entire record in the case, or any part thereof that it deems advisable. The Court of Appeals shall also accompany the certificate with all or any part of the record that any party to the suit may request. All cases certified to the Supreme Court under Rule 461 shall be accompanied by a proposed or tentative opinion of the Court of Appeals, which proposed or tentative opinion shall set forth the views and tentative opinion of the Court of Appeals on the questions certified.
