Rule 259. To What County
TEXT
If the application is granted, the cause shall be removed:
(a) If from a district court, to any county in the same or an adjoining district;
(b) If from a county court, to any adjoining county;
but the parties may agree that it shall be changed to some other county, and the order of court shall conform to such agreement.

Change: The venue is not required to be changed to the adjoining county with the courthouse nearest to the courthouse in the county where the suit is pending.
