Rule 178. Service Of Subpoenas (1957)

TEXT

Subpoenaes may be executed and returned at any time, and shall be served by delivering a copy of such subpoena to the witness; and service thereof may be accepted by any witness by a written memorandum, signed by such witness, attached to the subpoena.

Amended by order of March 19, 1957, eff. Sept. 1, 1957: Subpoena served by delivering copy instead of reading to witness.
