SUMMARY Performs all administrative aspects of the on-campus recruiting program and counsels students on career goals and job searches. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Counsels students regarding participation, policies and procedures in all recruiting events in which the College participates. Counsels students on career goals, job search strategies, and interview and networking skills. Facilitates the law school's on-campus interview programs. Schedules and maintains employer recruitment calendar. Prepares and distributes all information related to the recruitment program including instructions, charts, resource materials and schedules; handles cancellations and rescheduling of interviews. Tracks and follows-up with all employer recruitment requests. Responsible for maintaining Symplicity, the web-enabled recruiting site for law students and legal professionals, and the website for Career Resources Center. Assists in the development and implementation of career planning and placement programs, activities and materials. Provides support to the Department in targeting legal and non-legal employers for potential employment opportunities for all law students. Provides support in all aspects of the office including answering phones, faxing and servicing walk-in customers as needed. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions. Self-starter with ability to prioritize and organize.
