February 25, 2013--Students from South Texas College of Law claimed the Best Team honors at the 4th Annual National Cultural Heritage Moot Court Competition at DePaul University. The team battled through several rounds of competition arguing a complex case involving the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. Joseph Bramanti, Joel Glover, and Erin Kee defeated a team from the University of Michigan in the final round. The team was coached by Associate Dean T. Gerald Treece, Associate Director of Advocacy Rob Galloway '91, Professor Derek Fincham, and Houston attorneys Mira Haykal '12, Avi Moshenberg '12 and Brian Evans '12.
