South Texas Students Win in Georgetown Mock Trial Team Brings Home Title #98

    South Texas College of Law students win the Georgetown White Collar Crime Invitational Mock Trial Competition. Mock trial teams from 16 law schools nationwide competed in the three-day event, with South Texas defeating a team from Pace University School of Law in the final round. The students, Kevin Camp, Joe Gonyea, Christian Johnson, and Amanda Zimmerman were coached by Associate Dean T. Gerald Treece, Distinguished Lecturer Rob Galloway '91, Ann Johnson '01. Jennifer Falk, Samantha Peden, Laura Fowell and Jason Fowell also helped with the team . Christian Johnson also received a speaker award. This is the 98th national competition title earned by South Texas' nationally renown advocacy program.
