South Texas College of Law Announces New Board Members
January 16, 2008—The South Texas College of Law Board of Directors welcomes new members Ronald C. Lewis, Gordon J. Quan, and L. Jeffrey Steen.
South Texas is honored to have these attorneys join our 19-member Board of Directors as the school continues to improve the quality of legal education and the legal profession.
Ronald C. Lewis is a partner and trial attorney at Marshall & Lewis LLP. His practice encompasses litigation involving complex technical or business issues. He is a graduate of Princeton University and holds a law degree from Harvard Law School.
Gordon J. Quan is the managing partner for Quan, Burdette & Perez, P.C. where he practices immigration and nationality law. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and a law degree from South Texas College of Law.
L. Jeffrey Steen is the vice president for human resources at Grant Prideco, Inc. As the current president of the South Texas College of Law Alumni Association he assumes a board position designated for that elected individual. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law.
The South Texas board meets quarterly, overseeing the direction and operation of Houston’s oldest law school. Founded in 1923, South Texas is a private college with approximately 1,200 students and 10,000 alumni.
