Biography
Amanda Harmon Cooley joined the South Texas College of Law faculty in 2010. Professor Cooley previously was an assistant professor at the North Carolina A & T State University School of Business and Economics. She also was a litigation associate in the Antitrust, Business Torts, and Intellectual Property group of Parker, Poe, Adams & Bernstein LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Hayden Head, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Professor Cooley earned her J.D. with honors and her bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
