Currents is the official international trade law journal of South
Texas College of Law. Its focus is on international trade law
in its broadest sense. It addresses issues concerning the effects
of international trade agreements as well as aspects of international
business transactions, including the sale of goods and services,
licensing, investment, and dispute settlement. Previous editions
have focused on the NAFTA marketplace, the European Union, maritime
law, emerging markets and international finance, and oil and gas
transactions in Latin America. Currents emphasizes practice-oriented
articles on up-to-date topics.
The journal's
magazine format and strong graphical elements also enhance the
readability of the publication to our wide range of subscribers,
which include law schools, practitioners, private companies and
universities in the U.S. and abroad. Works submitted for publication
should be between twenty and thirty double-spaced pages in length
and include bibliographic endnotes. Shorter articles will also
be considered.
