Registration Information

TO REGISTER:

By E-Mail: Fill out the Registration Form and e-mail it. Registration must include a Visa or MasterCard account number and expiration date.

By Mail: Print and fill out the Registration Form and mail it (with your check payable to STCL), to 1303 San Jacinto, Room 303, Houston, TX 77002.

By Fax: Print and fill out the Registration Form and fax it to (713) 646-1780. Fax registrations must include a Visa or MasterCard number and expiration date.

By Phone: Call (713) 646-1757 or (800) 646-1253 for more information. All telephone registrations must include a Visa or MasterCard number and expiration date.

Refund Policy: Refunds, less a $45.00 processing fee, are given to those who cancel in writing by March 6, 2001. After that date, non-attending registrants will receive the materials by UPS (please allow 3 weeks for delivery). Substitutes are accepted. 

Scholarships: Limited, partial tuition scholarships are available for attorneys with government agencies and nonprofit organizations, and non-STCL law students. Direct written requests to Jean Zoch, Associate Director. 

Judges: Full-time active Texas court judges, magistrates, masters and referees may attend for a reduced tuition of $50.00. Attendance is required. Call for more information at (713) 646-1757 or (800) 646-1253.

Hotel Accommodations: DoubleTree Hotel, 400 Dallas Street, Houston, TX ,(713) 759-0202. Prices are $139 per night, guaranteed until February 20, 2001. Please indicate you are attending the South Texas College of Law Mental Health Institute. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the law school, which is 7 blocks from the hotel. 

Parking: There is plenty of available parking in garages and on surface lots near the law school. Fannin Garage, 1112 Clay Street (between Fannin and San Jacinto), $5.00 per day, no in-and-out privileges. Reserved parking for the disabled on floors 5, 7, 9, and 11 near the elevator.  Allright Parking (surface lots), 1200 San Jacinto (between Dallas and Polk), $4.50 per day. Main Street Garage, 1301 Main Street, $9.00 per day.
