Continuing Legal Education

The CLE Department sponsors legal education and skills training courses each year for members of the State Bar. All South Texas CLE courses meet the mandatory requirements for continuing legal education in Texas and in most other states. The department presents live programs on sustentative areas such as oil and gas, real estate, wills and probate and personal injury.

Ms. Roberts began her career at South Texas College of Law in 1987 and has been a member of the CLE Department since January, 1988. As one of three program administrators, she is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all activities related to the planning of the live CLE seminars.

Mr. Santillán joined the South Texas College of Law CLE team in May of 1998. As a program designer/administrator, he assists in the planning and is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all activities related to live CLE seminars held throughout the year.

Prior to joining South Texas, Mr. Santillan studied Communications Graphics at the University of Houston and Graphics Design at the Art Institute of Houston, graduating with honors. He has worked in the graphics design field for more than 20 years and lends his knowledge and expertise to designing South Texas' CLE seminar brochures, including relevant promotional materials and to maintaining the department website.
