Accredited by the State Bar of Texas for 13.0 MCLE hours, including 2.50 hours of legal ethics.

Today's troubled economic climate impacts not only our everyday lives, but is predicted to have a potentially devastating effect on the lives of our heirs and beneficiaries as well. Understanding recent changes to Texas' laws and regulations, and the interpretation of those changes by our Texas courts is critical. South Texas College of Law's 2009 Wills and Probate Institute is truly a "can't miss" event.

This year's Planning Committee has included a wide variety of topics - including legislative and case law updates, Medicaid, and the coordination of beneficiary designations as well as succession and estate planning techniques. The program includes a primer for fiduciaries and presentations designed to provide tips that attendees can apply in their practices. One interesting topic will address posthumous reproduction and surrogacy using this topic as one example of the impact that science has on the law.

Join your colleagues for a packed agenda offering 13.0 MCLE hours, including 2.5 hours of legal ethics.
