Employee lawsuits and governmental enforcement actions are at an all-time high. Recently
updated and proposed legislation offers and will result in some dramatic changes for the
workplace. Downturns in the economy have given rise to numerous employment issues as
employers try to cut costs. If you're an in-house counsel who is called upon to provide
advice on a wide variety (or perhaps all) of the employment law issues encountered by your
employer, you won't want to miss this unique learning opportunity that has been tailored
specifically for you.
Strategies for managing outside counsel and their fees, insights in how to work and deal
with the government, and the latest on key employment legislation will be presented during
this program. In addition, and perhaps most important, learn how to manage your own
in-house career in today's increasingly competitive environment to help ensure your survival.
