26th Annual Employment Law Conference

Thursday and Friday, July 25-26, 2013
(Register NOW)

The 26th Annual Employment Law Conference is packed with important topics for Labor and Employment Attorneys and Human Resources Professionals. Come learn how recently enacted laws (the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) and updates to old ones (the ADA, FLSA, FMLA, PDA, and Uniform Trade Secrets Act) will affect the employer-employee relationship; hear the latest from the EEOC and the NLRB; and discover how technology and social media are affecting and challenging today’s workplaces. The Conference includes numerous other important sessions: the ever-popular Texas Law and Fifth Circuit Updates; a Plaintiff Lawyers Panel; examining and cross examining company executives and HR professionals; conducting internal investigations; and ways employers can avoid whistleblower retaliation claims and punitive damages.

Thursday’s program concludes with a Networking Reception honoring Lafe Soloman, the Acting General Counsel of the NLRB. And Friday morning’s optional Roundtables give attendees an opportunity to talk one-on-one with members of the Conference’s Faculty. Join your colleagues and obtain practical tools and techniques you can apply immediately in your workplace and which will help you best serve your clients.
