Wednesday and Thursday, August 28-29, 2013
(Register NOW)
The 26th Annual Energy Law Institute for Attorneys and Landmen is packed with important topics for all practitioners in the oil and gas industry. Attendees will hear from experts about surface issues and access, water issues, the realities of fracturing (as opposed to the “hype”), vertical thinking in a horizontal world, and advocating for landowners. They’ll learn the latest about Production Sharing Agreements, Trade Secrets/Confidentiality Agreements, and AAPL’s Joint Operating Agreements. The Institute also includes several other important sessions: the ever-popular Case Law Update, a (quite) timely Legislative Update, what you need to know about title due diligence and additional insureds; what you definitely need to get with regards to indemnity and insurance; and the latest on Reeder v. Wood County. Even the ethics sessions promise to be new and exciting.
Obtain all your MCLE hours in two days or, if your schedule doesn’t permit you to be gone for two days, come for just one. Be sure to attend the Networking Reception on Wednesday after the day’s program and meet and mingle with the Institute’s Faculty and your fellow attendees. But regardless of whether you come for all or part of the Institute, you’ll obtain practical tools and techniques you can apply immediately to help best serve your clients.
