Dean Green is responsible for the overall administration of the office. He counsels students and alumni; maintains and establishes relationships with legal employers; acts as a liaison between students, alumni and employers; and facilitates relationships between the faculty and administration and the Career Resources. Dean Green is also a graduate of South Texas College of Law.
Ginna Galbraith

Ginna assists in managing the CRC office, including counseling 3L’s, planning and implementing programs, assisting with job fairs and the Fall Recruitment Program. She focuses on assisting students through establishing relationships with firms, alumni, corporations and government entities as potential employers both in Houston and beyond. She graduated from South Texas College of Law and became a member of the State Bar of Texas in 2002. Prior to joining the CRC, Ginna worked as a Legal Recruiter for a national search firm. She also practiced law in Houston for 4 years after graduation
Tara Matlak Recruitment Coordinator and Career Counselor 713-646-1866 tmatlak@stcl.edu Tara coordinates and oversees all aspects of the Fall Recruiting Program, including making initial contact with employers, scheduling on-campus interviews, and guiding students through the process. She is also the career counselor for 2Ls, providing assistance on setting career goals and improving job search strategies. She graduated from South Texas College of Law and became a member of the State Bar of Texas in 2007.

Ron is a Counselor with the Career Resources Center. He joined the center in 2004, bringing his proven communication and interpersonal skills to the field of counseling and professional development. Prior to joining South Texas, He worked collaboratively with legal professionals in the areas of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution within the Insurance Law and Risk Management sectors. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the field of Counseling Psychology, and provides career counseling to our 1L students. In addition to his counseling responsibilities, he coordinates programming for the center and assists in the compilation and reporting of graduation statistics.
Melissa Reinoza Career Resources Coordinator 713-646-1866 mreinoza@stcl.edu
Melissa serves as the initial contact person for the CRC. She updates resource materials for student and alumni seeking employment and prepares and maintains all posted job information for both law clerk and attorney positions. This is done through a web-based system that requires daily updates. In addition, she manages the computer-related information gathering and record keeping aspects of the recruiting programs.
