Summer Intersession or Fall 2014 Initial Class Assignment for:

Wills, Trusts & Estates § B

Instructor: Professor Siegel

First class date: 08/19/2014

Posting date: Aug 11, 2014 @ 16:21:36

I am looking forward to a productive semester this fall. Please
read pages 1-41 of the Dukeminier and Sitkoff text (9th ed.).

You should bring your casebook, current 2014 Ed. Texas Estates Code
annotated and class supplement (to be purchased from the bookstore)
to all classes. Failure to do so means you are not properly
prepared. In the class supplement you will find information
regarding class attendance and preparation. The information
contained in the class supplement should be read prior to our first
class meeting.

Pursuant to STCL attendance rules for the fall 2014 semester,
students have five permitted absences with a drop resulting on the
sixth absence. You will forfeit having questions answered after the
last class and a review of your final exam should you exceed three
absences. Keep these numbers in mind from day one of class.

Note: Seating will be alphabetical and attendance will be taken
from the seating chart. Please be in your assigned seat at the
start time of class to be counted as present. As use of electronic
devices is not allowed, do not set up your computer or any other
device in the classroom.

Please prepare a 3" x 5" index card with the following information:

Name (including phonetic spelling of last name)
	Undergraduate/Graduate School and Major
	Telephone # and e-mail address
	Area(s) of Legal Interest

The completed index card is to be turned in during our first class
