Required Reading - For the first class of the semester, read and be 
prepared to discuss pages 1-15 of the casebook - Weaver, et al., 
Criminal Law - A Contemporary Approach (2011). 

In all future classes, please read at least thirty pages ahead of 
where we stopped in the previous class session.

Required Activity: Every member of the class will be a member of the 
Powwow class discussion group. Do me a favor and sign up in advance 
by following the instructions on the Powwow page of the web site. So 
I can give you credit for your filings, be sure to choose a Yahoo 
email name that clearly identifies you by name.
